Swamp Maiden

This was a fairly quick sketch; got started and then couldn't make myself stop. This isn't a particular character or anything, just messing around mostly. Art teacher said to draw a bunch of organic pictures to get ideas, this was one of the ones I had the most fun doing. There are errors and things that could have been done better, but I still like it.

While I was drawing this I kind of wanted her to seem beautiful, but sort of scary too, maybe foreboding. If you were to come across her and she didn't notice you, would you be relieved? Or would you try to get her attention?
